Henin breaks ground on Springview Woods with 197 Homesites on Last Land Parcel in The Subdivision
DeBary, Fla. --- The Henin Group recently broke ground on Springview Woods, a new affordable single-family home community with 197 home sites on Spring Vista Drive off of U.S. Hwy. 17-92 in DeBary.
Jerome Henin, president of the Winter Park-based firm who is also developing the successful Riviera Bella community nearby on the St. John’s River, said he acquired the 64-acre parcel from Springview Heights, LLC for $3.85 million and started the permitting process in late 2016.
By August this year, JMHC site contractors began the clearing and road improvements on the property – the last parcel of land for development in the Springview subdivision.
Henin said the first phase of homesites will be ready for delivery in the first quarter of next year when homebuilder D.R. Horton will also start construction on its first model homes.
D.R. Horton is the approved builder at Springview Woods, offering new one and two-story single-family homes with from 2-5 bedrooms, priced starting from the low $200s.
“This will be a very successful development, with wide-ranging appeal. Its affordability and location should be particularly attractive to families and commuters,” Henin said. “Build-out of the community is projected to be complete within 3-4 years.”
Springview Woods is conveniently located minutes from the West Volusia SunRail station and Interstate 4. Residents will enjoy easy access to shopping, dining, hospitals, medical services, airports and employment centers.
