Blackton, Inc. sales are up over 45% with CalAtlantic’s Communities in Tampa Bay Region

Orlando/ Tampa Fla.--- Blackton, Inc., a major provider of flooring and roofing materials for the home building industry headquartered in Orlando, will supply 550 homes at CalAtlantic’s existing communities in the Tampa Bay area boosting the company's sales up to 45% more than last year's sales.

That number may be conservative, according to Michael "Micky" Blackton, chief executive officer. “This year, there’s been an uptick in home buying prompting more subdivisions, phases and community homesites underway than initially projected,” says Blackton.

New home closings overall in Tampa Bay during the first quarter of 2017 were up 45.3% year over year, according to the MetroStudy.

Blackton, Inc. a family owned business near downtown Orlando has been supplying the home building industry from Jacksonville to Tampa for over 60 years.
