Return of JAX Deli and Ale House to Central Florida Welcomed In Thornton Park
ORLANDO, Fla. --- Many Central Floridians have been enjoying the 2017 return of the award-winning JAX Deli & Ale House, now dubbed JAX Thornton Park, with its menu of mouth-watering choices, and interesting décor designed with recycled sustainable materials.
The gourmet sandwiches, salads, thin-crust pizzas, wraps, will take awhile to choose on a first visit. Decide on a long list of beers, wines or signature drinks while reviewing the vast array of food. You can also get a “burger your way,” or just basic sandwiches customized, and gluten free items are available too.
Open daily for lunch, dinner and drinks at 617 E. Central Blvd. off Summerlin, the casual restaurant, just a half block east of Lake Eola Park, joins several others on the two-block radius who are serving Italian, southern American or Sushi, to name a few. JAX offers patrons a wide selection and a 10% discount when they bring in the ticket from the convenient parking garage to the rear of the restaurant.
JAX Thornton Park’s new décor presents a comfortable connection to Central Florida with its bar that was formerly a bowling alley in DeLand, walls covered in salvaged barn wood and metal roofing, while the ceiling above the bar was formerly in Rosy O’Grady’s at Church St. Station. There’s plenty of covered and open outdoor seating as well to enjoy the city’s natural ambience.
“We wanted a real neighborhood joint feel in JAX Thornton Park,” said owners Sandy and Jack Thompson. “The response so far has been great.” The Thompsons said they’ll be adding a couple of new menu items for 2018, and free home-delivery to condominiums within a few blocks of the restaurant is coming soon.
